Silent Screams shatter a beautiful night.
You run in horror from what will come before dawn's light.
Shaking and moaning at the grip this dream has got,
you see yourself fighting to avoid being caught.
You see a flash of white, and a painted black smile,
While visions of vengeance dance in your head all the while.
Fleeting feelings of a creeping despair,
feeling so helpless, knowing you see her but she can not be there.
Crying out from your seat in furious disdain,
You are incensensed to hear the Judge's say, "Sustain!"
"'Tell the truth!!"' you scream in rage,
You are told to watch your actions, or be placed in a cage.
Sitting in a chair, watching your future go by
knowing the jury decides, if you will die.
Laughing to yourself at the irony this scenario has wrought,
thinking to yourself how a story of two "deaths" will be bought.
Dying inside for you know you were framed,
you quietly except being the one blamed.
Feeling her hands softly touching your shoulder,
you feel like you have been crushed, with a boulder.
You await your sentence, with a feeling of doom,
not even your love can take away this gloom.
You look around in hopeless disfavor,
wishing the truth could be your savior.
You realize that this is Hell on Earth,
and you look at this game with sarcastic mirth.
You wish you were walking the Stairway of exemption,
wishing Her love was your redemption.
